Today, innovation is all about teams. Teams are an excellent way to do innovation…but history is full of innovation done by and individual working alone. Teams are very useful however, provided the team is composed of the right talent. Teams do not come up with new ideas, individuals on the teams do! The two essential building blocks of a good innovation team are people with knowledge, both broad, and specific to the problem or opportunity, and people with innovation talent. People with innovation talent are, more often than not, hidden within the company performing all sorts of roles. Among their traits are strong problem solving skill, high self-esteem, creative outlets, but they tend to be more independent than most managers like and are undervalued as a company resource.

We specialize in identifying this talent and determining how their talents can best be employed within the company.
